If any extraction could be described as a positive experience, this was it! My 10 previous events starting at age 8 were all incredibly traumatic, and I was prepared this time for great pain and a long recovery. It has been 3 days since my surgery. I am eating normally and the pain is minimal with no need for meds. Dr. Smith and her staff are a phenomenal team whose approach includes great skill and a truly caring attitude.

Every aspect of this place is phenomenal. There was no wait time for scheduling my consult, and even my surgery was scheduled in the same month! Everyone in the office is kind, knowledgeable, and dedicated to my care. I was shown a video explaining the procedure, and Dr Smith answered all of my questions dutifully. As for my actual wisdom tooth removal, I had almost no swelling, and NO bruising. I'm now a week post op, and am virtually back to regular living! I HIGHLY recommend Blue Lake Oral Surgery. I was nervous about the oral surgery I was having but the staff at Blue Lake made me feel like I was in good hands, reassuring and kind. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, Dr. Smith was professional but kind and gave me detailed answers to my questions. The thought of tooth extraction is daunting, but Dr Smith and her team are able to transform it into a positive experience. The facility is comfortable, the staff is incredibly personable and Dr. Smith herself is extremely good at what she does. She talks to you thru the procedure explaining what she is doing and doesn't dilly dally around. Before you know it she is done and they are sending you home. Cannot recommend highly enough!
