I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction expecting all the nightmare stories of my family's experiences (with other facilities) and was pleasantly surprised by how easy, painless, and quick the procedure was. I was referred to Dr. Smith from my dentist in Hood River for the removal of a very large Torre that covered the roof of my mouth. I have been a trauma nurse for 40 years. My experience with Dr.Smith both as a patient and a medical professional was top shelf. My dental insurance covered 2/3 of the cost. I had a pretty good idea what my out of pocket expenses were going to be. Dental insurance typically does not cover everything. I had options and chose what worked for me and my family and they were more than willing to work out a plan. I had put this surgery off for years and quite honestly I was anxious about having bone chiseled away on the roof of my mouth. I remember Dr. Smith starting my IV and being sat up to leave. Whole procedure lasted less than 2 hours. Minimal discomfort. Best oral surgery I have ever experienced and I have had many! With gratitude. 🪬
