I was referred to Dr. Smith from my dentist in Hood River for the removal of a very large Torre that covered the roof of my mouth. I have been a trauma nurse for 40 years. My experience with Dr.Smith both as a patient and a medical professional was top shelf. My dental insurance covered 2/3 of the cost. I had a pretty good idea what my out of pocket expenses were going to be. Dental insurance typically does not cover everything. I had options and chose what worked for me and my family and they were more than willing to work out a plan. I had put this surgery off for years and quite honestly I was anxious about having bone chiseled away on the roof of my mouth. I remember Dr. Smith starting my IV and being sat up to leave. Whole procedure lasted less than 2 hours. Minimal discomfort. Best oral surgery I have ever experienced and I have had many! With gratitude. 🪬

Honestly, such a great experience! I previously had a horrible wisdom teeth removal elsewhere, so I was really nervous going into this one. But at Blue Lake Oral Surgery, everything was completely different, in the best way. My procedure went smoothly, and my recovery was so much easier than I expected.
