I was amazed to get an appointment with Blue Lake the same day I was referred. I wasn’t sure what to expect - their office staff were very friendly & knowledgeable. The room was clean, looked fully stocked to take perform whatever is needed. The doctor was kind and took care of my needs quickly. I am very grateful for the very positive overall experience!

The entire staff including Dr. Smith were very professional and kind. The office and treatment rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Patient comfort is obviously very important in this practice. I would suggest that give the patient written post-surgical instructions. Even though I was given oral instructions, I was unable to recall some things on the second day. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to others and I plan to use them again myself in the future.

I had 2 teeth extracted yesterday. Even after following instructions, one tooth was slow to clot. The bleeding continued to get worse. I called Dr. Smith's office and she and an assistant met me at the office and fixed the bleeding problem. I am very grateful for their above and beyond care. Great practice. Spent a lot of time explaining things. Followed up after the surgery with us. Loved the wrap they sent home with my son for the icepacks for his cheeks. That was much better than "the old days" trying to ace bandage packs of peas to the face for the first few days. Everything went great. Nice office staff and doctor!

My dentist referred me, I waited several weeks for the consult arrive fifteen minutes early as requested for paperwork. Thirty minutes past my appointment time I told them I was half an hour past my time. I got bad body language UN-caring response. I left five minutes after that. This floating appointment time is much worse than the the VA. If I had been this late they would have cancelled my appointment and charged me for it. I can't speak on the surgeons, but this seems to me to be a bad way to start and I can not put my trust and confidence in them A half day of lost wages and still in pain. Don't waste your time like I did.

Dr. Smith and her staff are fantastic. I felt welcomed by the front reception and my mind was put at ease with thorough explaining of the procedure from the nurses and Dr. Smith. The handouts that walk through pre- and post-op instructions were incredibly helpful and took away the feeling of having to remember everything explained. The procedure went smoothly under general anesthesia and is healing great. I would recommend her to anyone needing oral surgery, especially if you have a fear/anxiety of dental procedures!
